Shipper/Receiver

We’re seeking a full-time Shipper/Receiver to join our Operations team in Cochrane, Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Shipper/Receiver ensures seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming items. Inventory management and vendor relations with shipping companies are essential functions for this position. As an important member of the Operations team, you will:

  • – Prepare shipments – determine the most economical and efficient shipping method; select appropriate shipping container; pack items to ensure safe delivery
  • – Prepare bills of lading – confirm that quantities, destination and routing are correct; ensure shipments contain proper documentation
  • – Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries
  • – Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required
  • – Work with customs brokers and common carriers
  • – Receive, unload, verify, inspect and deliver incoming materials
  • – Prepare, sort, count, package, label, unpack, store and/or log inventory that is shipped or received
  • – Process return shipments from customers
  • – Maintain and file shipping/receiving documents
  • – Materials handling and inspection

Note: This position does not require heavy equipment operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

As the ideal candidate for this role, you have:

  • – At least 1 year of experience working in shipping and receiving
  • – Experience in handling international shipments is an asset
  • – Familiarity with online shipping systems (FedEx, DHL, UPS and Canada Post) is an asset
  • – Experience with international importing and exporting – knowledge of regulations; dealing with customs; generating commercial invoices
  • – Able to accurately weigh and measure items
  • – Working knowledge of safe packing methods
  • – Additional training in transportation regulations and the transportation of dangerous goods are assets
  • – Must be capable to lift up to 40lbs
  • – Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
  • – Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • – Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills to work effectively under tight deadlines
  • – A valid driver’s license, good driving record and a vehicle
  • – A high school diploma as a minimum, post-secondary education is ideal

Planner/Scheduler

4iiii Innovations is an innovative company designing and developing exciting new technologies. (Software as a Service and Embedded Software Applications). 4iiii Innovations has multiple factories and sales channels across the globe. We’re seeking a full-time Planner/Scheduler to join our Operations team in supporting global distribution and manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Scheduler/Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating the 4iiii Sport global production schedule. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager to ensure best practices in demand planning, inventory planning, production planning and fulfillment planning. He/she will coordinate the activities of the local production line, as well as the overseas factories providing manufacturing services for 4iiii. He/she will analyze and report on actual customer demand, trends and forecasts, and adjust capacity plans and inter-departmental communication accordingly. This person will also be responsible for creating specific material forecasts, which shall be used for build planning and long lead items. Ensuring that purchase orders are acknowledged, production schedules are created, completed on time and within budget will provide personal satisfaction.

As an important member of the Operations team, you will:

  • – Create, maintain and ensure execution of the production schedule
  • – Coordinate activities with overseas factories and local production team
  • – Forecast materials and labour required for production
  • – Coordinate traffic flow of supplies
  • – Work closely with Buyers on inventory planning and management, forecasts, and scheduling
  • – Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external product demand
  • – Regularly report on schedule performance
  • – Monitor production progress and ensure that builds are completed on time and within budget
  • – Advise departments of the status of work in progress and any potential production problems, and provide solutions/alternative scheduling options
  • – Work with other managers to coordinate activities within and between departments
  • – Work with Logistics and Brand departments on channel fulfillment forecasting, planning and execution
  • – Work with Engineering on implementing new products into factory schedules
  • – Liaise between factories, account managers and key customers to cleary manage expectations and communication requirements
  • – Identify improvements and help implement solutions that increase efficiency and production rates
  • – Review forecasts to identify and mitigate possible capacity/material issues and recommend appropriate action
  • – Perform ongoing analysis of weekly, monthly and future capacity to optimize product level loading and achieve manufacturing continuity during low and high volume months
  • – Lead the sales and operating plan process that forecasts matching capacity with demand, lead-time and delivery performance
  • – Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules and other records/reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs

QUALIFICATIONS

As the ideal candidate for this role, you have:

  • – Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, materials management or a related field – SCMP, CPIM, CSCP or Plog designations preferred
  • – 5+ years of scheduling experience that demonstrates sound planning, prioritization and execution skills
  • – Production, supply chain management, global logistics and forecasting experience preferred
  • – Extensive knowledge of MPS/MRP, demand flow, JIT, forecasting, inventory planning and supply chain design
  • – Experience in managing production of overseas factories, specifically in Asia
  • – Strong understanding of how to communicate effectively with partners where English is a second language
  • – Willing to travel if required
  • – A well-defined sense of diplomacy, superior telephone etiquette, strong interpersonal skills, and people management skills
  • – Advanced ability to be analytical, effectively problem-solve, communicate (orally and in writing) and lead business discussions
  • – Experience as a team player working with cross-functional teams

Graphic Designer

We’re seeking a full-time in-house Graphic Designer to join our team in Cochrane, Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for production and design of digital and print assets for multiple divisions within 4iiii Innovations. Working within our established brand guidelines, the individual must demonstrate the ability to be innovative and think creatively in order to increase our brand image. The Graphic Designer will work closely with our Art Director and will use extensive knowledge of specialized design concepts to develop comprehensive layouts and the production of marketing material.

QUALIFICATIONS

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will:

  • – Have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • – Have experience in a related industry with a strong portfolio and secondary education preferred
  • – Be well versed in the latest graphic design methods, practices, techniques, and associated principles
  • – Be proficient use of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
  • – Be comfortable working in Google Docs, Slides, Sheets
  • – Have experience working with Mailchimp campaigns would be an asset
  • – Have experience with After Effects or equivalent, Adobe XD (not required but a benefit)
  • – Have strong social media asset knowledge

We’re seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Cochrane, Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key contributor and collaborative team member reporting directly to the Controller, you will use your strong technical abilities and work experience to handle a broad range of accounting duties including inventory and capital asset management. Your proven proficiency and desire for excellence will provide personal satisfaction for a job well done. Specifically, this person will:

  • – Assist in day-to-day accounting processes and ensure all transactions are recorded and reported accurately, on a timely basis and in accordance with approved accounting policies and procedures
  • – Work closely with supply chain and buyers to manage and reconcile inventory
  • – Track and manage the company’s capital assets
  • – Review company expenditures and employee expenses and ensure that they are accurately coded
  • – Reconciling bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
  • – Maintaining accurate intercompany accounts for multiple entities
  • – Assist with coordination and preparation of regular filing requirements including GST and sales tax in other jurisdictions
  • – Provide support in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, financial statements and forecasts

QUALIFICATIONS

As the ideal candidate for this role, you:

  • – Possess an educational background in accounting and have a recognized accounting designation
  • – Have a 5+ years work experience in accounting that reflects a strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • – Possess strong technical skills using Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
  • – Have demonstrated proficiency using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
  • – Experience in a multi-currency and intercompany environment is an asset
