Have an existing crankset that you would like a power meter on? With our Factory Install option you can send your crank to us and we will install a 4iiii power meter on it. We offer Factory Installs on a wide variety of cranks, including SRAM and Cannondale.
WHAT IS A FACTORY INSTALL?
A Factory Install is a 4iiii PRECISION Powermeter installed on a crank or crankset that you provide. The Factory Install PRECISION Powermeter is offered on a wide variety of cranks and is a great option for those who do not ride with a Shimano crankset or wish to have a power meter installed on their existing cranks.
Check If You Have A Compatible Crank
1. CLEARANCE CHECK
Before purchasing, confirm there is enough clearance between your crank arm and your bike frame for the power meter pod to fit. To ensure clearance and compatibility, you will be required to send us a photo of a successful clearance-check before sending us your crank or crankset. If unsure, contact us for help.
2. SHIPPING
Find an appropriate package and send your crank to us. We recommend a tracked signed for service.
3. MANUFACTURING & INSTALLATION
Your crank will have the pod attached using the exact tools, techniques, and staff we use on all our products, and must pass all the same high quality checks. Manufacturing should take about 7-10 business days, and you will be given a tracking link so you can follow your crank through the process.
4. SHIPPING BACK & REINSTALLATION
Once manufacturing is complete, we will ship your crank or crankset back using the shipping method you selected at checkout. As soon as you receive it, you can reinstall it on your bike.
