Automatic Terrain Selector

The Automatic Terrain Selector was specifically developed to guarantee optimal performance and unwavering accuracy across any riding surface. It uses the accelerometer for exceptional battery life on smooth steady state cruising and automatically switches to the gyroscope on rough terrain, gravel or for the high rpm sprints. Ride the road less traveled with confidence.

3D Strain Gauge Technology

Not everyone has a perfect pedal stroke. Forces on your crank change when seated, standing to get over a steep climb, or sprinting towards the finish line. As well, as you fatigue your own pedal stroke can change over the duration of your ride. To ensure that every force put into your crank is measured, our patented 3D strain gauge technology measures power by using the lateral bend, pull, and twist of your crank. This means that throughout your ride, your power numbers will reflect the changes to your pedal stroke no matter how you are riding.

The Same Numbers Training Inside & Out

All of our power meters are ANT+ and Bluetooth (BLE) compatible meaning that you can receive from your 4iiii power meter on your preferred ANT+ device or connect it to your laptop or tablet to use your power meter over BLE with your favorite indoor training app. This means that the power numbers that you see on Zwift or TrainerRoad will be consistent with the numbers that you see outside.

Based in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, we were tired of training tools not designed to work in our tough environment.
