4iiii to offer integration with the Apple Find My network for Power Meters and unveils new Ride App for Apple Watch

By leveraging the Apple Find My network, cyclists will now be able to locate their bicycles effortlessly, providing them with unparalleled peace of mind whether they are at home or on the go.
The Apple Find My network — made up of hundreds of millions of Apple devices — provides an easy, secure way to locate compatible personal items using the Find My app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or using the Find Items app on Apple Watch. Find My requires iOS 14.5, iPad OS 14.5, Mac OS Big Sur 11.1, and watchOS 8.0 or later. The Find My network accessory program enables third-party companies to build finding capabilities into their products, letting users access Apple’s Find My app to locate and keep track of important items, like the 4iiii PRECISION 3+ power meter, even when they’re not nearby. The Find My network is anonymous and uses advanced encryption, meaning that no one else – not even Apple or 4iiii – can view the location of your items.
PRECISION 3+ offers real time Terrain Auto-Optimizing that was specifically developed to guarantee optimal performance and unwavering accuracy across any riding surface. By using the accelerometer on smooth steady state cruising and automatically switching to the gyroscope on rough terrain, gravel or for high rpm sprints. Keeping with 4iiii core values, the platform is extensible to ensure riders are always up to date with the latest and greatest new and innovative features the company offers.
In addition to PRECISION+ with the Find My network, 4iiii unveils its innovative ‘Ride’ Apple Watch app, designed to change the way cyclists track and analyze their performance. The app offers Bluetooth connectivity, enabling seamless integration with fitness sensors (power meters and heart rate monitors, including non-drive side and dual power meters) from most manufacturers, not just 4iiii. Cyclists can now access workout views, live heart rate, power, speed, cadence, distance, elevation, and calories directly on their Apple Watch.
The app captures and records comprehensive ride statistics, including GPS routes, which are stored in Apple Health. Riders can track their activity, calories, and have their rides contribute to closing their Activity rings. The app also supports auto sync to Strava, enabling automatic workout sharing and enhancing the social aspect of cycling. With the 4iiii Apple Watch app, there is no need for a conventional head unit, cyclists can rely on the Apple Watch to capture key information, whether they are on the road, gravel, or in the mountains.
